Why choose online tutoring?
Online tutoring provides parents and students with the flexibility, comfort and safety within their own home. Many students prefer to have tutoring within the home environment, saving the time and hassle of travelling between sessions. Students can also complete work online and enjoying engaging with the interactive elements of the session.
Do we need equipment or to download anything?
A strong internet connection is useful to ensure sessions run smoothly, along with a computer, laptop, tablet or phone. The preferred teaching platform is Google Classroom and Google Meet, you may need to down load these, but there are website versions available.
Do students stay focused during an online session?
There are always concerns that students will find it harder to learn online due to distractions. However, since online teaching students are far more focused and the tutor can ensure that students are paying attention to the right areas at the right time. Many students have expressed that they find the online lessons more engaging, fun and interactive.
